Roadies 7 winner is Anwar Syed

Anwar Syed, 24, an Engineer-cum-MBA graduate from Delhi beat Zaid to emerge the winner of MTV Roadies 7.0.

Anwar entered the show purely for the love of adventure and not surprisingly, had the time of his life.

Having been voted out once, the twist in the last episode by Irrfan Khan gave Anwar yet another chance to come on the show for keeps!

I knew that I had it in me to win the title but I got evicted due to bad circumstances. People who were supporting me were shocked when I was voted out. Even I was hoping that if I got one more chance I would give by best. On Roadies, you always expect the unexpected and this was a life-changing twist for me. I am still digesting the fact that I won.

I have been following Roadies for years and I have enjoyed watching contestants perform the tasks. This show has both adventure and travel which I like the most.

I also always dreamt of taking part in this show someday, but I was too lazy to fill the form and go for the audition. But this year I did it.

As India’s hottest reality series goes on air, VJ Rannvijay has made his selection of the final 14 roadies from among the shortlisted 24 riders. The special guests to announce the final 14 Roadies were R. Madhavan & Sharman Joshi – ‘3 Idiots’. The Roadies concert has announced the final 14 Roadies; Gaurav Gill, Meghna Mirgnani, Ameya Ravindra Kadam, Amritpal Singh from Mumbai, Mohit Malik, Nisha rana, Ravneet kaur, from Chandigarh Priyanka R. Roy, Anwar Syed, Eric Roy from Kolkata Vikas Ambwani from Rajasthan, Charlie Chauhan, Zaid bin Nazir from Bangalore, and Bharti Nagpal from Delhi. For all those who missed the action on ‘Ride with Rannvijay’, now is the time to get updated! The round of auditions chose 24 ‘riders’, beginning with online auditions moving on to group discussions and personal interviews on ground. These ‘riders’ then went on to the next level ‘Ride with Rannvijay’ and performed the toughest tasks from the past 6 seasons. For the first time in Roadies history, 10 riders will be eliminated before the journey kicks off, purely based on their performance.
